Salt and Ember Sauna, run by Bronagh Gallagher since 2020, brings more sea dippers to Bundoran and Creevy Pier every week.

Locals and town visitors enjoy this barrel sauna at two locations every week; Bundoran pier on Fridays and Saturday, and the idyllic and more remote pier at Creevey.

Bronagh is passionate about third spaces, community and the physical, social, and historical benefits of the sauna experience.

Problem

Moss and Ember a beautiful feed and a very responsive follower base with direct correlation between posting and more bookings coming in for that weekend. However, Bronagh expressed a desire to add a little depth to the feed photography, so not all posts were super sunny bright days with high saturation. She wanted shots that showed the moody cosy days at Creevy too and the social side of a trip to the sauna.

Solution

Our goal was to set up a content day at Bundoran pier with volunteer to take part in a free session with pizza to model for the updated branded content. Pictured and recorded were lots of laughs, swimming, sauna-ing and pizza prep. We also set up a second quieter shoot day at Creevey pier on an overcast day for those balanced moody shots. I gave Bronagh three styled edits to choose from for the new feed vibe of Salt and Ember. I applied the chosen look to all images and videos in the catalogue for consistency.

Results

A catalogue of reels, videos, and high quality pictures including drone footage to give potential visitors the feeling of visiting Salt and Ember Sauna, before they even come.

Bronagh could also now focus on more business development activities and have a selection of shots and videos at her disposal for posting.
